Reliance Communications is now offering 70GB 4G data at Rs 148, the cheapest data plan yet

Reliance Communications, owned by Anil Ambani, is now offering subscribers a new data plan that will definitely send some shockwaves to the rest of the telecom industry. Reliance Communications’ new plan falls under its Super Value tariff plan and offers 70 GB of 4G data for 70 days at just Rs 148.

The new plan, as per a report from The Economic Times, provides 1 GB of data each day for 70 days along with a talktime of Rs 50. Users can also place voice calls at Rs 25 paise/minute to any network.

The company’s FRC 54 and FRC 61 plans offers 1 GB of 4G data each day for 28 days. The difference between the two plans is that the FRC 61 also comes with voice calling benefits. Reliance to Reliance calls using FRC 61 allows for Reliance to Reliance calls at 1 paise / 6 sec and 1 paise / 2 sec for local and STD calls.

Airtel too is offering a plan with 1 GB data per day for 28 days, but offers unlimited calling to any network across India. This, however, is limited to 56 days and will cost customers Rs 399.

Indeed the plan offered by Reliance Communications drifts more towards data users. It offers the lowest 4G data rates possible, compared to competitors at the moment.
